Jovann's filmmaking career began at a production company in Jakarta, Indonesia. Eager to keep improving his filmmaking skills, he decided to move to the United States to pursue an MFA degree in Film Directing.  

 

He seeks to create work that stands out for its uniqueness and universality. By evoking powerful emotions, Jovann aims for his art to connect with the audience on a personal level, enabling them to see their own experiences and feelings reflected in it.
